Single and maybe ready to mingle? Bob Saget confirms his single status following an erroneous report that alleged he was headed down the aisle for a second time.
The 57-year-old actor, whose role in popular '90s sitcom Full House as the cardigan-wearing, advice-peddling, beloved TV dad Danny Tanner nudged him into the spotlight, told Us Weekly at the Hollywood premiere of Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa on Wednesday, Oct. 23 that he has been unattached since earlier this year. "I've been single for nine months," he says.
"I haven't been in a jewelry shop for a very long time," adds Saget (who famously once went on a date with Katie Couric) while touching on the same story that sparked the engagement rumors. He continues, "I read stuff on the web and Google myself-- I wish I was the person I say I was." In a cryptic tweet on Wednesday, the actor shared with his over 2 million followers, "When someone says something negative to you, turn it into a positive. Tell them you want to sleep with their mother."

After Full House ended in 1995, Saget went on to host America's Funniest Home Videos for several years, ending his stint in 1997. That same year, he split from his attorney wife Sherri after fifteen years of marriage. The couple has three daughters together, whom Saget praised in a 2009 interview with Parade. "If everything in my life is raised to the level of how great they are then that would be a great thing to have achieved."
As for his love life? He reiterates, "Single, man."
